The LTC®6992 is a silicon oscillator with an easy-to-use analog voltage controlled pulse width modulation (PWM). The LTC6992 is part of the TimerBlox® family of general purpose silicon timer devices.

A single resistor, RSET, sets the LTC6992's internal main oscillator frequency. The output frequency is determined by the main oscillator and an internal frequency divider NDIV (programmable to 8 settings in the range of 1 ~ 16384).

Apply a voltage between 0V and 1V to the MOD pin to set the duty cycle.

The four versions have their different min/max duty cycles. Note that a 0% minimum duty cycle limit or 100% maximum duty cycle limit allows oscillation to stall at extreme duty cycle settings.
